The 3Rs (Replacement Reduction Refinement) are guiding principles for a more ethical use of animals in product testing and scientific research.
These guiding principles have been first spelled out as a firm legal requirement by EU commission in the Directive 2010/63/EU on protection of animals used in scientific purpose. In the last two decades, significant progresses have been made in terms of development and validation of in in vitro tests for a reliable prediction of in vivo drug/formulation performances.
The aim of this webinar is to give an updated overview on the most implemented in vitro methods for in vivo bioavailability prediction and to highlight the applicability of MIVO in this context.
