9th Belgian Symposium on Tissue Engineering
We are all set for the BSTE 2022!
Check out the attractive program including internationally renowned speakers, industrial involvement, and several presentations.
Check out the including international renowned speakers, industrial involvement, and several presentations.
The BSTE annual symposium aims to bring together researchers from all over the world to exchange the most recent advancements and discoveries in the quickly developing field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
Experts from different Countries will present and address recent developments in biomaterial development, computer modelling, biomedical imaging, and image analysis.
Additionally, scientific networking and meeting are encouraged to promote potential research collaborations at national and international levels.
The symposium will take place at the University of Antwerp, Hof van Liere in Antwerp on December 2nd and 3rd.
EVENT HIGHLIGHT
Focus on: Tissue Engineering Challenges
In the field of biological sciences, tissue engineering holds great promise for efficient tissue/organ repair and regeneration. Functional organs like the heart, liver, cartilage, and bladder have been engineered as a result of significant advancements in the field of tissue engineering. Furthermore, in recent years, tissue engineering has emerged as an effective tool with applications in the study of cancer, in vitro models for the testing of drugs and the modelling of illness.
But there are still several issues that need to be resolved before tissue-engineered goods may be produced.
Next-generation tissue engineering employs a wide range of novel techniques to address some of these issues, including 3D (bio) printing, organs-on-chips, smart biomaterials, self-assembling cellular systems, in silico modelling, and more. The development of tissue-engineered organs and the regulation of cell behaviour will be made possible by these new technologies.
